Job Summary:

Responsible for designing, implementing and coordinating a system-wide comprehensive donor relations and foundation events program under the direction of the Director Geisinger Health Foundation Event Planning. This position will focus on foundation events and will require some evening and weekend work. Assists with project and program management support to create the strategic development of events system-wide focused fundraising. Enables the team to make proactive decisions and actions to bring projects to successful completion within defined timelines.

Job Duties:

  • Serves as part of the team with the planning, implementation and coordination of foundation event details including assisting with print materials, sponsorships, logistics, financials, including contract negotiations and registration processes.
  • Assists with the creation of reports as needed for monitoring, tracking and capturing event status towards objectives.
  • Assists with the development and execution of a stewardship plan with fundraising events.
  • Responsible for event solicitation of sponsorships and oversees auction item solicitation as needed. Will require strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Project management of production schedules  for assigned projects, consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Develop and execute the coordination of event mail/email list management related data requests with the event steam and the data team.
  • Contribute to the event marketing and promotional materials, as well as event print collateral in partnership with the foundation manager of communications through Marketing and Communications and the print vendor.
  • Assists with responsibility Raiser’s Edge Events Module and Luminate Online,  for all special events.
  • Responsible for building and maintain relationships with community committee event volunteers, as well as with the contracted vendors   necessary for running successful events.
  • For all fundraising events, coordinates proper gift acceptance and acknowledgment processes, auction details, and post-event communications.
  • Initiates contact with donors to follow up on sponsorship benefits and payments.
  • Assists with the development of yearly growth plans for all events, including corporate sponsorship opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Travel may be required. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
